Ketchikan Daily News Endorses Lisa Murkowski for U.S. Senate

ANCHORAGE, AK – This week, the Ketchikan Daily News editorial board endorsed Senator Lisa Murkowski’s (R-Alaska) re-election. 

The Ketchikan Daily News’ endorsement titled Respect Choices highlights Murkowski’s seniority and effectiveness in delivering for Alaska. 

The Ketchikan Daily News wrote, “As Alaskans are well aware, Sen. Murkowski has been in the Senate for two decades and has earned a seat on the powerful Senate Appropriations Committee, the same committee chaired repeatedly by the late Sen. Ted Stevens…In that time, Murkowski — who, like Stevens, doesn’t always vote a strict party line — has acquired billions of dollars for Alaska. That type of funding improves all Alaskans’ quality of life. Alaska natives and Alaska Natives — veterans, developers, members of the armed forces, the young and the old, professionals and vocational experts — all have benefited greatly and will for years to come as a result of her efforts…”
