Lisa Murkowski Demonstrates Energy Expertise in Alaska Oil & Gas Forum
Lisa Murkowski Highlights Her Strong Record of Advancing Alaska’s Energy Issues |
In today’s Alaska Oil and Gas Association (AOGA) candidate forum, Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) made clear that she is the only candidate in the race for U.S. Senate with a demonstrated track record of delivering for Alaska’s oil and gas industry.
“Today’s candidate forum once again underscored the stark contrast between Senator Murkowski and her challengers in the race for U.S. Senate,” said Nate Adams, campaign manager. “While Lisa shared her strong vision for the future of Alaska’s energy industry – and highlighted her record of policy accomplishments – Kelly Tshibaka resorted to baseless attacks and worn out partisan talking points to compensate for her lack of experience in advancing Alaska’s priorities.”
Lisa Murkowski was recently named the most effective Republican Senator on energy issues by the Center for Effective Lawmaking. Today’s AOGA candidate forum is the first of six public forums and debates that Senator Lisa Murkowski has announced her intent to participate in ahead of the general election on November 8th.
